Living Life To The Fullest!

So much has happened recently. Yes, I know that it has been a while since I last updated this. So here is a brief summary of some of what has been going on!

We had our annual fall clean up here at the headquarters. It was amazing to watch everyone come together and rake the leaves. It looked like an army was coming through as all 37 of us just made a line and started plowing around campus! What an awesome team! Many great memories made with many great people!

A few of us went downtown to see the lights and such! It was beautiful and we had a blessed time of fellowship!

I went home for thanksgiving! It was an exciting trip as our car broke down, but thankful for the Lord's guidance and direction. Moriah was actually able to come down with us and we had a relaxing Thanksgiving.

 

We Signed over 600 cards from our Publications Department just to say "Merry Christmas" to those who placed orders for Christmas! It was a lot of fun! We also had a Christmas party for all the staff & We had a party for Mr. Gothard's birthday! Which was super fun to be a part of!

Seth came home a few weeks ago! He just finished ERT down at the ALERT campus and I'm super proud of him! Way to go man!!! They all wore their dress blues to church. Ben is one of Seth's friends from ALERT and he came down and spent the week with them!

We had our annual Christmas conference this past weekend and everything went well. So many preparations and details to making it all happen. Everyone pulled together and it was a huge success. It really was a great weekend.

The lake here is frozen, so last week we went and skated on it that was super fun!

Blessed Beyond Measure!

I was blessed to be able to go home this past weekend and spend time with my family! I miss y'all so much!

I was able to watch Hannah play Volleyball and was also able to watch Timothy play basketball. They both won their games!!! I was so happy for them! Way to go y'all, keep up the good work!

Then on Saturday we went down to the Duggars for Josiah's graduation. It was so good to catch up with everyone down there!

Then on Sunday Hannah and I sang "Jesus, Thank You" for church!

Jenna, Hannah and I headed up to St. Louis so that I could catch my bus! :) But since we had some extra time, we decided to make the most of it, haha! So here are a few pics!

It was a really short weekend, it reminded me that we should make the most out of  the time that we have and not to waste it on things that are not important. We aren't going to be here forever, So, make the most out of the time that you have right now!

The Past Couple Weeks!

So much has happened, time seems to fly. . .here are a few of the highlights!

A whole group of us from HQ went to Chick-Fil-A to celebrate Nate's birthday. It was so much fun!

 Mammal and Papal came down to visit me for the weekend before heading to Virgina to visit my sister! We had a great time together!

 

It was great to see Bri again (FYI: this is Abby's sister), she and I took a Photography course together a couple years ago! So we took a few more photos. We were reminded of so many fun memories and we laughed way to hard!

This past weekend we went to Verity for their Harvest Fest. It was such a blast, a good time of fellowship and many memories made!

 

 

Nate drew this picture for Mrs. Heiniger and I wrote the verse on it! I think she was very blessed by it! 

 

Last night we played soccer! It was kind of cold, dark and rainy. . .Yeah, probably not the smartest. . .but we had so much fun!!!

September Update!

I know that it has been forever since I last updated my blog! So sorry, I can't believe how busy I've been the past month . . . I can't even remember it all!!!

 Labor Day/Staff Retreat!

Wow, words don't even come close to describing our time in the Northwoods! It was so refreshing to be able to go up there and get away from work and everything back at HQ and spend time with the Lord and the Headquarters staff! It was such a blessing to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in the Lord! Here are a few pictures from our time up there!!! Enjoy!

Seth's Advancement From ALERT Basic Training!

I also went home for a few days and spent most of the time down in Texas at the ALERT campus. Seth Graduated from basic training and is now attending ERT course that they have down there for the young men. 

 Way to go Seth!!! I'm so proud of you!

I'm so grateful for every opportunity that the Lord gives me. What a blessing! He is so faithful to use us to further His kingdom and bring Him glory!

Kinleigh left Monday so we. . .Grace, Kinleigh, and I all went to Chicago on Saturday! It was such a blessing to spend the day with them, keep serving the Lord wherever He has you!

Kinleigh, I'm praying for you and I know that you will continue to be a blessing wherever God places you!

My family (well those of them that are left at home. . .Hannah is at a Music workshop in Indy and Seth is down at ALERT basic training) went out to Virginia to visit my older sister and her family, here are a few pics from the trip! It sounded like they had a great time out there! Awe, they are so cute and getting so big!

Exciting Adventures!

So many things have happened since I last updated! It's hard to know where to start. 

4th of July

We celebrated Independence day, yes, I know that was ages ago, but when your going from one thing to the next time flies! We had a great time, I was able to take a lot of pictures since my leg was out of use. . .  due to playing an exciting game of soccer the week before, and it is still healing slowly but surely (basically no sports for 3 months). :) Yes, kind of a bummer but the Lord has already used it for good!

So yes, All of that so say we had a great time~!

July Journey

I was blessed to be able to assist Katie Mellas on the July Journey! After the June journey I gave the desire to lead a Journey/disciple young ladies to the Lord. He gave me a real peace about the whole situation. Because as much as I wanted to do it, if that was not his perfect will, it meant that He had something better, and if he had something better that is all I wanted! So, next thing I know the dream that I gave up the Lord was given back to me! I was totally shocked, I felt so unqualified, which I was: but the Lord over and over again gave me wisdom. Many times I would be talking with the girls and sometimes totally at a loss of words and the Lord in His faithfulness continually came through!!! He is so good to use our weaknesses for His glory!

We had an awesome team!

I love them so much!

It was amazing just to watch God work in each of our lives and draw us closer to Himself!

July 20th!!!

I also had my 20th birthday while we were in the Northwoods!!! Everyone made it so special, what a blessing! I'm excited to see what the Lord is going to do with this next year of life;  He has given me more time to serve Him and may it bring glory to His name!

Mackinaw Trip

Abby, Bri, Molly and I went to Mackinaw Island for the weekend and just basically relaxed! We had so much fun and made some great memories, yes, great memories indeed! :)

It was so beautiful!

We biked around the entire Island, it was so much fun!

So many awesome memories! Just enjoying the peacefulness!

It was great to be able to spend time with Molly, Abby, and Bri! Thank y'all so much for your encouragement! 

Indy Conference

I had the privilege of going to the last and final regional ATI conference in Indy. I worked in the AV dept...It was a great week! I was running camera two, which great, especially when you are trying to follow the speaker and stay awake! :) Great times!

Time With Family

We spent the weekend with my grandparents! We had a great time, it was awesome to see everyone again!

Many funny faces, the sun was shinning so bright off of the white cars!

I miss y'all so much! :)

I can't be more blessed, God has given me such an awesome godly family! He's so good, to give us exactly what we need~!

This past week, I made beef jerky, dried strawberries and apples, and made a brown skirt. I'll try to post more on that later, maybe. . .anyways yes, keeping busy. We just had our last guys Journey this past week; excited to see what the Lord is going to do through their lives and I can't believe August is half over! So yes, use your time wisely and have a fantastic day!
