Sin Is A Monster!

"Sin is a monster of such awful mein
that to be hated needs but to be seen
but seen to oft familiar of face
we first endure,then pity,then embrace."

-Alexander Pope

That's My King!

The Bible says my King is a seven-way king
He's the King of the Jews
He's the King of Israel
He's the King of Righteousness
He's the King of the Ages
He's the King of Heaven
He's the King of Glory
He's the King of kings, and He's the Lord of lords. That's my King.
Well....I wonder, do you know Him?

David said, "The Heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth His handiwork."
My King is a sovereign King.
No means of measure can define His limitless love.
No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supply.
No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessings.
He's enduringly strong.
He's entirely sincere.
He's eternally steadfast.
He's immortally graceful.
He's imperially powerful.
He's impartially merciful.
Do you know Him?

He's the greatest phenomenon that has ever crossed the horizon of this world.
He's God's Son.
He's the sinner's Savior.
He's the centerpiece of civilization.
He stands in the solitude of Himself.
He's august and He's unique.
He's unparalleled.
He's unprecedented.
He is the loftiest idea in literature.
He's the highest personality in philosophy.
He is the supreme problem in higher criticism.
He's the fundamental doctrine of true theology.
He is the cardinal necessity for spiritual religion.
He's the miracle of the age.
He's -- yes He is -- He is the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him.

He's the only one qualified to be an all sufficient Savior.
I wonder if you know Him today?
He supplies strength for the weak.
He's available for the tempted and the tried.
He sympathizes and He saves.
He strengthens and sustains.
He guards and He guides.
He heals the sick.
He cleansed the lepers.
He forgives sinners.
He discharges debtors.
He delivers the captives.
He defends the feeble.
He blesses the young.
He serves the unfortunate.
He regards the aged.
He rewards the diligent....and He beautifies the meek.
I wonder if you know Him?

Well, my King....He is the King!
He's the key to knowledge.
He's the wellspring of wisdom.
He's the doorway of deliverance.
He's the pathway of peace.
He's the roadway of righteousness.
He's the highway of holiness.
He's the gateway of glory.
Do you know Him?

Well, His office is manifold.
His promise is sure....and His light is matchless.
His goodness is limitless.
His mercy is everlasting.
His love never changes.
His word is enough.
His grace is sufficient.
His reign is righteous.
And His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.
I wish I could describe Him to you, but He's indescribable -- Yes He is!? He is God!
He's incomprehensible.
He's invincible.
He's irresistible.
Well, you can't get Him out of your mind.
You can't get Him off of your hand.
You can't out live Him, and you can't live without Him.

The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him.
Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him.
The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree.
Herod couldn't kill Him.
Death couldn't handle Him, and the grave couldn't hold Him.
Yea!!!, that's my King, that's my King.

Yes, and Thine is the Kingdom....and the Power....and the Glory....Forever....and ever, and ever, and ever -- How long is that? And ever, and ever.

And when you get through with all of the forevers, then. AMEN!

An Update That is Long Over Due

So much has happened in the last month, and my computer almost crashed so I didn't have it for awhile, but now I am pretty much back in the swing of things. Keeping busy as usual!
On April 6th, Abby and I went home to surprise Hannah for her 15th birthday. It was so much fun, we had a great time. . .she didn't know we were coming in, then she arrived at her surprise birthday party. . .
and a few minutes later. . . we show up! It was so awesome!
P.s. Hannah thanks for being such an awesome sister. You are such a blessing and inspiration to me of what a godly woman looks like!!! Keep living life for Him, it's is totally worth it!!!
While we were at home, Dad, Nathaniel, Hannah, and I were able to sing "Thou art worthy, O Lord" at church! It was such a blessing. . .something I've wanted to do for a long time! :)

Pal finished Basic Training Leadership, for unit 49 at ALERT.
Nathaniel, I can't believe that God blessed me with such an awesome brother as you!
His nickname down at RATI was Brother Johnson then it changed into BJ. Haha!
It's great to have a Pal like you!

It was a blessing to spend the last week (well I guess it's been two weeks now) with Pal. Long story short. . .we were supposed to drop him off at home on our way back up to HQ. . .but I guess God had bigger plans. . So he ended up coming to HQ with me which was super awesome and then God worked everything out so that he could attend a "Journey to the Heart". It's so exciting to see the Lord arranged all the little details for him to go. Nathaniel was able to help out with security at Big Sandy ATI conference and I helped out in the video department. We had a lot of great times!
This was my view!
It was a great week! Looking forward to Nashville!
I'm looking forward to studying this book with a few other young ladies. It is such an awesome book as Mary Kassian contrast the wild woman of Proverbs 7 with the wise woman of  Proverbs 31.

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. . . For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself" (Philippians 3:14, 20-21).
I found these verses this morning and it really challenged me to continue to press toward Jesus Christ, so that my life would be found in Him. The question that came to my mind was, "Would the conversations that I have today, be found in heaven?" How many times do we discuss stuff that has nothing to do with heaven? If we want our lives to impact others for eternity, our talk must match up with our walk, and our conversations must encourage others in Christ righteousness, because one day we will be changed into his glorious image! Can others see His righteousness in you right now? So stay focused on Jesus Christ and remain faithful to the end!
