Lord, Deepen my Love

Wow, words can't really even explain how much I appreciate the way that my parents raised me.They have guided me unto all truth and I'm eternally grateful! Sometimes I just wish that everyone else in the world could've had the same opportunity, but we serve a big God and no matter where you've come from He is big enough to pull you out of the pit and set you upon the Solid Rock of Christ.
Saturday we went downtown to pass out about 2,000 tracks. There were thousands of people there for the St. Pats parade and dying the Chicago river green. It was so sad to watch the way people have to try to have fun and create joy in their lives. So many souls out there are lost, but not lost for eternity, there is still time. They need Jesus, so MUCH more than we can even imagine. They need us to live Jesus for them, they've never heard of Him or seen what it means to be a follower of Christ Jesus.
So, I have a question. If Jesus saved you from eternity in hell, where is your compassion on those who don't know Him yet? Where is our love? Did He really change your life? What is there to loose? These people need Christ and I'm convinced more than ever that it is you and I who must get into the heart of God and share Him with others. Why are we so selfish? We wish people didn't sin and hurt other people like they do. Well, how are they going to live the victorious life in Christ Jesus if we don't tell them? Guys, there are millions of people wrecking their lives because they don't know of the Deep Love that Jesus has for them. We must go and tell them about our Merciful and Faithful God! May we begin by immersing ourselves in His great love.

Our God Still Does Impossible Things!!!

It was a blessing to be able to go down with the team that went into the prisons in Florida. It was incredible to watch our Awesome God move in miraculous ways! Prayer after prayer He answered; right before our eyes we saw God take those who were helpless, discouraged, down in the pit and He pulled them out and gave them new life and set them on the solid Rock of Christ. They are a new creation in Christ and they got so excited about Jesus and what He had done for them, that they began to tell others in their dorms and some of the other prisoners that weren't even attending the Journey to the Heart received Christ as their Savior. It was awesome, just over the week that we were there, their faith increased miles! We have such a powerful God and he can do anything! Nothing is to hard!
We can live and abide in the presence of the one who changes lives! His mercy and grace is unending, He gives us way more than we deserve.
After going into the prisons with the Journey to the Heart Team, I was reminded again that nothing is impossible with the God of the Universe. He is the King over ALL kings and there is nothing to hard for him. He takes our "impossible" situations and turns them into testimonies that glorify His name. Praise the Lord! He works all things together that His name may be lifted high and that His kingdom may be advanced.
Heading to the prison and enjoying the warm weather in Florida!

 Eating at Chick-Fil-A!

Well that's about all for now! Keep pursuing Christ with all of your heart!
