Lord, Deepen my Love

Wow, words can't really even explain how much I appreciate the way that my parents raised me.They have guided me unto all truth and I'm eternally grateful! Sometimes I just wish that everyone else in the world could've had the same opportunity, but we serve a big God and no matter where you've come from He is big enough to pull you out of the pit and set you upon the Solid Rock of Christ.
Saturday we went downtown to pass out about 2,000 tracks. There were thousands of people there for the St. Pats parade and dying the Chicago river green. It was so sad to watch the way people have to try to have fun and create joy in their lives. So many souls out there are lost, but not lost for eternity, there is still time. They need Jesus, so MUCH more than we can even imagine. They need us to live Jesus for them, they've never heard of Him or seen what it means to be a follower of Christ Jesus.
So, I have a question. If Jesus saved you from eternity in hell, where is your compassion on those who don't know Him yet? Where is our love? Did He really change your life? What is there to loose? These people need Christ and I'm convinced more than ever that it is you and I who must get into the heart of God and share Him with others. Why are we so selfish? We wish people didn't sin and hurt other people like they do. Well, how are they going to live the victorious life in Christ Jesus if we don't tell them? Guys, there are millions of people wrecking their lives because they don't know of the Deep Love that Jesus has for them. We must go and tell them about our Merciful and Faithful God! May we begin by immersing ourselves in His great love.

Our God Still Does Impossible Things!!!

It was a blessing to be able to go down with the team that went into the prisons in Florida. It was incredible to watch our Awesome God move in miraculous ways! Prayer after prayer He answered; right before our eyes we saw God take those who were helpless, discouraged, down in the pit and He pulled them out and gave them new life and set them on the solid Rock of Christ. They are a new creation in Christ and they got so excited about Jesus and what He had done for them, that they began to tell others in their dorms and some of the other prisoners that weren't even attending the Journey to the Heart received Christ as their Savior. It was awesome, just over the week that we were there, their faith increased miles! We have such a powerful God and he can do anything! Nothing is to hard!
We can live and abide in the presence of the one who changes lives! His mercy and grace is unending, He gives us way more than we deserve.
After going into the prisons with the Journey to the Heart Team, I was reminded again that nothing is impossible with the God of the Universe. He is the King over ALL kings and there is nothing to hard for him. He takes our "impossible" situations and turns them into testimonies that glorify His name. Praise the Lord! He works all things together that His name may be lifted high and that His kingdom may be advanced.
Heading to the prison and enjoying the warm weather in Florida!

Pray for the team that is going down to do the Journey To The Heart, in the Florida prisons. We want to see the Lord work in miraculous ways and it starts on our knees. Pray that his love would be more evident than ever before!

Sunshine In My Soul!

Baking cookies and enjoying the snow!

This past month has been amazing! Mom and Dad came up and visited me, it was great to spend the weekend with them!!! I moved houses in the first of January, so I've been unpacking, re-organizing, re-arranging, cleaning, etc. I have some awesome house mates, Becky, Jennifer, and Natasha! It's been a huge blessing spending time with them!
It has been absolutely freezing here since I got back! I've never been in such cold snowy weather but it's been great!!! We've been able to go ice skating, sledding, and we've had some great snow ball fights!

Summertime!!!
It is summertime, in my heart,
It is summertime, in my heart,
Since Jesus saved me,
 New Life He gave me,
Ev'n in wintertime,
it's summer in my heart!

I just want to thank the Lord for his unending faithfulness! I'm excited for this new year and for what all God is going to do! We've been listening to so many great messages in our staff meetings lately. I've been so moved and impacted to move toward Christ in a deeper and richer way. One message was by Doug Small and it was talking about three mountains. Mount Sinai was where God revealed His awesome power and placed the Fear of God in their hearts, Mount Calvary is where Christ shed His blood to pay for our sins, He showed unending love and amazing grace, and Mount Zion is where we should be heading. . .we can't keep camping at Mount Sinai or Mount Calvary, both are good and we need them, but we must press on to the Mount of God, to the celestial city of our Great King and God. Take every small moment of the day to stay in Mount Zion, set your heart upon eternity. Focus not on what you can see but spend your time doing the things that will matter when we finally reach our Heavenly home!!! I pray that you will be inspired to passionately pursue Jesus Christ with all of your heart!

Thankful for His Mercy & Love

I'm continually amazed at the Lords faithfulness in my life and the journey He has brought me through over the past few years. I was given the opportunity to share on Living the Journey a glimpse of what God has done in my life and the reconciliation that He gave to me when He paid the price for me on the cross! May you be blessed beyond measure this upcoming year as you daily seek to draw closer and closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! He is the only reason for our existence; Everyday we are one day closer to meeting Him, face to face!!! Are you ready? What are you doing today to move His kingdom forward?

Living Life To The Fullest!

So much has happened recently. Yes, I know that it has been a while since I last updated this. So here is a brief summary of some of what has been going on!

We had our annual fall clean up here at the headquarters. It was amazing to watch everyone come together and rake the leaves. It looked like an army was coming through as all 37 of us just made a line and started plowing around campus! What an awesome team! Many great memories made with many great people!

A few of us went downtown to see the lights and such! It was beautiful and we had a blessed time of fellowship!

I went home for thanksgiving! It was an exciting trip as our car broke down, but thankful for the Lord's guidance and direction. Moriah was actually able to come down with us and we had a relaxing Thanksgiving.

We Signed over 600 cards from our Publications Department just to say "Merry Christmas" to those who placed orders for Christmas! It was a lot of fun! We also had a Christmas party for all the staff & We had a party for Mr. Gothard's birthday! Which was super fun to be a part of!

Seth came home a few weeks ago! He just finished ERT down at the ALERT campus and I'm super proud of him! Way to go man!!! They all wore their dress blues to church. Ben is one of Seth's friends from ALERT and he came down and spent the week with them!

We had our annual Christmas conference this past weekend and everything went well. So many preparations and details to making it all happen. Everyone pulled together and it was a huge success. It really was a great weekend.

The lake here is frozen, so last week we went and skated on it that was super fun!

Here are a few pictures from Christmas!

My awesome guys!!! Y'all are the best!!!

Blessed Beyond Measure!

I was blessed to be able to go home this past weekend and spend time with my family! I miss y'all so much!
I was able to watch Hannah play Volleyball and was also able to watch Timothy play basketball. They both won their games!!! I was so happy for them! Way to go y'all, keep up the good work!

Then on Saturday we went down to the Duggars for Josiah's graduation. It was so good to catch up with everyone down there!

Then on Sunday Hannah and I sang "Jesus, Thank You" for church!

JESUS, THANK YOU
The mystery of the cross I cannot comprehend
The agonies of Calvary
You the perfect Holy One, crushed Your Son
Who drank the bitter cup reserved for me

Your blood has washed away my sin
Jesus, thank You
The Father’s wrath completely satisfied
Jesus, thank You
Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table
Jesus, thank You

By Your perfect sacrifice I’ve been brought near
Your enemy You’ve made Your friend
Pouring out the riches of Your glorious grace
Your mercy and Your kindness know no end

Your blood has washed away my sin
Jesus, thank You
The Father’s wrath completely satisfied
Jesus, thank You
Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table
Jesus, thank You

Lover of my soul
I want to live for You

Jenna, Hannah and I headed up to St. Louis so that I could catch my bus! :) But since we had some extra time, we decided to make the most of it, haha! So here are a few pics!

It was a really short weekend, it reminded me that we should make the most out of  the time that we have and not to waste it on things that are not important. We aren't going to be here forever, So, make the most out of the time that you have right now!
