. . . Into His Face!
Because our Savoir lives, there is hope!
Wow!!! I don't even know how to describe with words what took place in the Northwoods on this past girls Journey. All I can say is we serve and know an indescribable God. His mysteries can't been seen or touched, but just experienced! You must know Him for yourself, His love is SO deep. His presence was felt by each and every girl and as we got on our faces before the Lord and realized once again how inadequate we are, His mercy came down and touched us. The Power of His Cross was not made just for salvation. No, it was for us, we can live in HIS power, daily. So often I find myself trying to make it on my own, struggling to stay above water. . .there is SO much more. He is calling us to walk on the water but it only comes by Him ALONE! There is nothing in and of ourselves that we can do to make it happen. All we can do is trust and believe in the ONE who takes us to higher ground.
It rained most of the time we were up in the Northwoods. Jesus showed me that even in the storms as we abide and trust in Him there is Hope. His love surrounds us, even when the waves are higher and we see no sun in sight, His arms of love are wrapped around us as He says "peace be still". Maybe the storm continues to rage around you, it's okay, He is there and He is calling your soul to be still and abide in the Secret Place of Our Almighty God. His beautiful rainbows are a sign of hope! You must stop looking at the storm and look up into the face of Jesus, the One who gives us Hope. He is that ray of light, that sparkle from the sunshine, and the One who carries us through when even when we can't stay above water.
Keep looking up! Whether your life looks life a sunny day or your in the darkest storm of your life, He is all you need! Our Almighty God does all things well, trust in Him!
How deep the Father's love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice,
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice,
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
