Gratitude Is A Choice
"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless His name." Psalm 100:4
I was asking myself when do we "enter His gates or His courts"? When we are abiding in His presence, and walking along side Him; we have entered His gates and are in His courts. Therefore we should come to Him with a thankful heart and should be abundant in praise towards Him. As the King of all kings he should receive our favour and our lives should be a mirror reflection of His life. He deserves our blessings and praise, our lives should exalt and uplift His name. We are so selfish, we expect the Lord's blessing on our lives. If we aren't blessed by the Lord we think we have been cheated. Anything we receive from the Lord is undeserved and it is only because of His mercy and grace that He continues to be our faithful God, but so many times we fail to give Him what He deserves.
He receives glory when we bless, acknowledge, and praise His name. Just our salvation alone, should daily put us on our face before God thanking and praising Him for saving us. We were created to glorify Him!!!
It's a Choice. Will you choose to make the days of the Lord a delight? As children of the King we have the greatest life there is to live, and therefore should be grateful for what He has provided for us. Don't ever take the blessings of the Lord for granted. He is a merciful God! Thank Him every moment, not only will he be honored; but it will change your life and you will realize just how much He does for you each and every day!
He deserves to be thanked!

Dad, no one could replace you. I can't think God enough for blessing me with a Dad who cares so much about his daughter, you always encourage me to do what is right, and guide me with wisdom to always live for and honor God with my life. You will always be my hero! I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
