That's My King!

The Bible says my King is a seven-way king
He's the King of the Jews
He's the King of Israel
He's the King of Righteousness
He's the King of the Ages
He's the King of Heaven
He's the King of Glory
He's the King of kings, and He's the Lord of lords. That's my King.
Well....I wonder, do you know Him?

David said, "The Heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth His handiwork."
My King is a sovereign King.
No means of measure can define His limitless love.
No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supply.
No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessings.
He's enduringly strong.
He's entirely sincere.
He's eternally steadfast.
He's immortally graceful.
He's imperially powerful.
He's impartially merciful.
Do you know Him?

He's the greatest phenomenon that has ever crossed the horizon of this world.
He's God's Son.
He's the sinner's Savior.
He's the centerpiece of civilization.
He stands in the solitude of Himself.
He's august and He's unique.
He's unparalleled.
He's unprecedented.
He is the loftiest idea in literature.
He's the highest personality in philosophy.
He is the supreme problem in higher criticism.
He's the fundamental doctrine of true theology.
He is the cardinal necessity for spiritual religion.
He's the miracle of the age.
He's -- yes He is -- He is the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him.

He's the only one qualified to be an all sufficient Savior.
I wonder if you know Him today?
He supplies strength for the weak.
He's available for the tempted and the tried.
He sympathizes and He saves.
He strengthens and sustains.
He guards and He guides.
He heals the sick.
He cleansed the lepers.
He forgives sinners.
He discharges debtors.
He delivers the captives.
He defends the feeble.
He blesses the young.
He serves the unfortunate.
He regards the aged.
He rewards the diligent....and He beautifies the meek.
I wonder if you know Him?

Well, my King....He is the King!
He's the key to knowledge.
He's the wellspring of wisdom.
He's the doorway of deliverance.
He's the pathway of peace.
He's the roadway of righteousness.
He's the highway of holiness.
He's the gateway of glory.
Do you know Him?

Well, His office is manifold.
His promise is sure....and His light is matchless.
His goodness is limitless.
His mercy is everlasting.
His love never changes.
His word is enough.
His grace is sufficient.
His reign is righteous.
And His yoke is easy, and his burden is light.
I wish I could describe Him to you, but He's indescribable -- Yes He is!? He is God!
He's incomprehensible.
He's invincible.
He's irresistible.
Well, you can't get Him out of your mind.
You can't get Him off of your hand.
You can't out live Him, and you can't live without Him.

The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him.
Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him.
The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree.
Herod couldn't kill Him.
Death couldn't handle Him, and the grave couldn't hold Him.
Yea!!!, that's my King, that's my King.

Yes, and Thine is the Kingdom....and the Power....and the Glory....Forever....and ever, and ever, and ever -- How long is that? And ever, and ever.

And when you get through with all of the forevers, then. AMEN!

An Update That is Long Over Due

So much has happened in the last month, and my computer almost crashed so I didn't have it for awhile, but now I am pretty much back in the swing of things. Keeping busy as usual!
On April 6th, Abby and I went home to surprise Hannah for her 15th birthday. It was so much fun, we had a great time. . .she didn't know we were coming in, then she arrived at her surprise birthday party. . .
and a few minutes later. . . we show up! It was so awesome!
P.s. Hannah thanks for being such an awesome sister. You are such a blessing and inspiration to me of what a godly woman looks like!!! Keep living life for Him, it's is totally worth it!!!
While we were at home, Dad, Nathaniel, Hannah, and I were able to sing "Thou art worthy, O Lord" at church! It was such a blessing. . .something I've wanted to do for a long time! :)

Pal finished Basic Training Leadership, for unit 49 at ALERT.
Nathaniel, I can't believe that God blessed me with such an awesome brother as you!
His nickname down at RATI was Brother Johnson then it changed into BJ. Haha!
It's great to have a Pal like you!

It was a blessing to spend the last week (well I guess it's been two weeks now) with Pal. Long story short. . .we were supposed to drop him off at home on our way back up to HQ. . .but I guess God had bigger plans. . So he ended up coming to HQ with me which was super awesome and then God worked everything out so that he could attend a "Journey to the Heart". It's so exciting to see the Lord arranged all the little details for him to go. Nathaniel was able to help out with security at Big Sandy ATI conference and I helped out in the video department. We had a lot of great times!
This was my view!
It was a great week! Looking forward to Nashville!
I'm looking forward to studying this book with a few other young ladies. It is such an awesome book as Mary Kassian contrast the wild woman of Proverbs 7 with the wise woman of  Proverbs 31.

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. . . For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself" (Philippians 3:14, 20-21).
I found these verses this morning and it really challenged me to continue to press toward Jesus Christ, so that my life would be found in Him. The question that came to my mind was, "Would the conversations that I have today, be found in heaven?" How many times do we discuss stuff that has nothing to do with heaven? If we want our lives to impact others for eternity, our talk must match up with our walk, and our conversations must encourage others in Christ righteousness, because one day we will be changed into his glorious image! Can others see His righteousness in you right now? So stay focused on Jesus Christ and remain faithful to the end!

God Cares. . .

. . . About Even The Smallest Details

http://gotoes.org/sales/SingerSewingMachineManuals/images/SingerSewingMachine.jpgI stand amazed at how God works in our lives. I was trying to sew a skirt yesterday, when the screw that controls the tension, fell down into the sewing machine. I was trying to think all day how I could get it out...ideas went in and out my head all day. Then I got home from work and started looking for it again. Then I thought, well maybe it fell onto the floor...because I had turned the machine upside down and all around trying to get this screw out. This screw is only about an 1/8 of an inch, or less. So, I got my flashlight and it wasn't but a few minutes later that I was jumping up and down...I was so excited the Lord had placed it right in front of my eyes, and it was as if He said, "You don't need to worry about anything, I know where even the smallest screw is that you need." Now I had even a bigger problem...How was I going to get it back in the hole? In my mind it was impossible because of how it was positioned. I was racking my brain and everyone else who was around, trying to figure out how I was going to put it back in. After trying several ways that absolutely did not work, I just started asking God to put the screw back in, He had helped me find it, and He was going to have to put it back in. The next thing I saw, shocked me! The Lord took my weakness that couldn't do anything, and He used it to place that screw back in. I was so happy!!! Our God is so awesome and so big, I stand amazed at what He uses to show how strong and mighty He really is!

A Great Time In Chicago!

It was awesome to be able to spend time with all of these awesome girls!!!
Group Picture

I think we got everyone in the group this time.
Abby and Moriah two awesome friends
We went to Navy Pier while we were in downtown Chicago and rode the Farris Wheel. We had quite the adventures! It was a great way to celebrate Olivia's birthday!
So what do you do when you get back to the van and realize that you don't have your purse with you. I was thinking, I could have left it anywhere. So Abby, Easter, and I all rush back to where we had previously been. The Lord brought to mind where I had set it down, so we headed straight there and what do ya know it was gone! That was pretty much a given...I knew that God had a plan for all of this, and it would be the grace of God if we found it. I just figured God had a different plan and maybe someone else needed it more than I did. So we went to the information desk...and they said, "Are you Sarah Johnson" I said, "Yes"...after a while the security lady who must have been a Christian came out...She said, "You are one lucky girl! Most things don't get returned. . . I said, "I have a good and gracious God". She said, "You must have a praying Mama and Daddy" I was like, "Yes, I definitely do!" Then right before we left, she said "You have something to Praise God about today and all this week". I was thinking, No kidding! We serve such a good God! His mercy never ends! We don't deserve all the things he does for us each and every day.
Praise Him in the big things and in the small things. He cares about your rising up and your lying down. Give Him the Glory He deserves!
Abby and I
We had so much fun!!! Hope y'all have a wonderful Easter as you celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Smile, He Has A Greater Plan

I finally was able to finish my teeth process (well most of the way, just a few more small details), Praise the Lord! I'm so thankful that God knows about the smallest details of our lives, and He makes us exactly the way He sees fit. Thank You Lord! So after having five adult teeth missing for years they are now replaced!!! (Which is kind of weird) Goodbye little retainer. . . :) anyways if you can't tell, I'm super excited!!! I know God had a reason for all of it, and tho I may not see it all now. He has a bigger plan, and I'm excited too see how it is all going to work together!!! The Lord is so good, He deserves your praise and glory in your life, no matter what is going on or what we don't understand. Remember He has a plan, and it couldn't be better! Pictures from recent or not so recent times.
After I got my teeth!

Pictures from past times. :)
